These are great pants. The only thing I would like more is if they had mesh panels in them, because they are a little heavy and to hot for riding in hot or kinda hot weather. They fotnthe best of any of the other Kevlar pants I have bought thus far!

I'm very disappointed in these, the cut and fit are odd. The waist - to - crotch is way too short, so it's difficult to get them up over the hips and the zipper opening is so small as to be useless. The knee armor hangs well below the knee, it's more like shin guards, and it would be impossible to comfortably stop along a ride and walk around a store or an event or anything. The knee armor pockets are odd, they velcro closed at both the top and bottom, but the top opening just ends up inside the lining, so to remove the armor you have to take the pants off and reach up the leg, and I had a heck of a time getting the armor back in that way. The pants say cargo pants, but the cargo pockets are disappointingly small, not what I think of when I hear cargo pants. Sadly, I will have to return them.

I cannot wear women’s high waisted jeans, so I chose these. Great choice! They are a low rise jean fit, fit true to size (think Levi’s), have great stitching, and removable armor. Deep front pockets are awesome, zip pockets in the front thigh for quick storage like money or credit cards, and things stay secure. Wore them on a long ride and they get comfier the more you wear them.
