Good Quality for the price!
The mesh riding jacket is great. Just wish the zipper was a 2-way and not on the opposite side. Needs front pockets also. Overall I’m happy with the purchase. Buyer beware if you do decide to return there is a $45 restocking fee!

Excellent build quality. NOT for summer
This armored shirt is almost Mesh-like material, but even though it has a mesh weave, the garment is very heavy. there are several layers to the shirt, not to mention the armor. I have other armored shirts that weigh half as much. This one probably provides more protection but it is very hot to wear. If traffic is moving, it's not too bad, but when you get into congestion and it's bumper to bumper, it's a sweat-box. I ordered the 4xl, since I'm 5'10" with 54 chest and 55 waist. There's plenty of room in the chest and waist but the arms are tight. I cannot snap the wrist snap if I'm wearing a watch. Even though the arms are tight, the arm armor does not cover my elbows, it kind of sags to the bottom of the arm. If your arms are in handlebar position, then the armored elbow pads are covering the bottom side of your forearm and inside of your upper arm, the point of your elbow is sticking out just above the edge of the pad. I love the color, and I think this mesh shirt will keep me warm in the fall and early winter of Houston Texas. I'm going to have to see if I can somehow manipulate the elbow pad pocket to sit higher and then put a couple of stiches in it to hold it there so that the pad covers the elbow. I'll also see if I can find a seamstress that can extend the snap on the wrist so that I can snap it even with a watch on. I took off one star for how hot it is for a mesh shirt, and another for the fit and armor sagging out of place.

Perfect for city and highway
I live in SF and commute to Palo Alto every day for work, which means I get all 4 seasons of the year before lunch. I run hot as a person, so the leather jacket wasn’t doing it for me anymore.
This piece addresses all my concerns. It’s got enough on it to keep me warm in the cool mornings, and it’s lightweight enough to keep me cool in the hot east bay sun. I couldn’t be happier.
